Monkey Lovin' Valentine's Day Ape Set!

M(ysterious) Ape and his lady friend are having a little Valentine's Day celebration, and everyone's invited! This sickly sweet set is cast in crystal clear resin with transparent clear sprays and is available this Sunday, Feb. 13th at 12pm PST only at the MONSTRESHOP. Definitely beats flowers and a box of candy!

Toxic Catalyst was awesome!

So we survived curating the Toxic Catalyst show, it was a awe inspiring showing of some well established resin artists as well as some you've probably never heard of.  Everyone delivered some of their best work yet and it was a blast displaying all the resin goodness together in one place.  The show should be up at the old Super 7 store for a few more weeks so check it out.  If you can't make it to Japantown here's some thorough coverage and the figures are up in the Super 7 webstore.

Special Victims Unit @ Grasshut

Our opening at Grasshut was a success!  Here are a few pics of the show and the pieces are available at the Grasshut shop.  If anyone is in Portland OR in the next month you can go check them out at Grasshut which is located inside Floating World Comics 20 NW 5th Ave. #101 Portland, OR 97209 .
For the show, we created 2 colorways called "Black Hole Fishing Lure" and "Summer Salad"... I think you can figure out which is which.

Just an update on the GID mini victim sets, they will be shipping out first thing on Monday April 12th.  Thanks to everyone who purchased a set and enjoy!

If anyone was interested in the Neon Monster Wondercon exclusive set of one-off victims (featuring the first appearance of Miles D.{Victim #3}) it is up in their webstore.

MONSTREHEROxSUPER7 Mysterious Apes!

If you follow our Flickr page (and you should, because we're way better at updating that than this poor blog), you've seen that we've been posting a bunch of WIPs for our latest special release of the Mysterious Ape. I just wanted to show a bit of my paint process...it isn't anything terribly fancy, but I had my camera sitting there and thought, well why not? You can check out the pics here.

So, where can I get one of these fine simian specimens, you may ask? Why, this Saturday (tomorrow) March 20 at Super7 (online and in-store)! We've done a slightly larger run than normal, so hopefully everyone who wants one can get one. I feel he's a nice compliment to the MISHKA Ape we did last month (pics here), and of course he GLOWS so it's win-win either way!
